  • Second lecture: “Life in Belgium at the time of the battle”

  • Official ceremony
  • Opening
  • Bivouac with numerous participants living as they did at the time
  • Re-enactment of military actions involving infantry and cavalry (gunfire, manoeuvres, combat…)
  • Guided tour of the battlefield by miniature train
  • Entertainment (bagpipes, dancing…)
  • Bouncy castle for children
  • Numerous craftsmen (including traditional trades and local artisans)
  • Food trucks and bars
